| The late Howard
Collins with his All-Tackle World Record German Brown Trout. Not a fly rod fish, this 40
lb. 4 oz. leviathan still claimed record distinction having been caught on 4 pound ultra
lite spinning tackle. In addition to being a new IGFA World Record, the fish also
qualified for the Ten to One Club. Last, but not least, 'Home Town Boy Makes Good' - - both Howard and Trent Roberson, Rx F Fish founder, grew up in Salem, IN., frequenting the many fine smallmouth streams throughout that region. Howard's father, 'Debe' Collins taught generations of young fishermen the wonders and joys of the sport of fishing. |
